Chapter 4 Considerations • We humans 62 great books by Black authors, recommended by TED speakers Through Dynasty, Zimin supported another one of his organizations, the Liberal Mission Foundation (LMF). It was effectively a think tank that assisted education initiatives that taught modern political science from a liberal perspective in Russian schools — including Elbakyan’s. This is ostensibly what qualified as “political activity.” And though Zimin was a Russian national, he kept the money with which he supported Dynasty in foreign banks — making it fair game to be considered foreign funding. (In an interview with The New Yorker, Zimin said, “The Russian government also keeps its money abroad,” likely referencing the fact that the Kremlin holds billions in US bonds.) Together, Zimin’s “foreign” money and Dynasty’s relation to the LMF provided the excuse for the “foreign agent” label. https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-kuaenhnwtr-2132.pdf • ^ Ernesto Van der Sar (31 March 2019). The transition to gratis availability of scholarly articles is currently underway, and such a model may be inevitable in the long term ( Lewis, 2012; Sutton, 2011; Jha, 2012). However, we urge the community to take this opportunity to fully liberate scholarly articles, as well as explore more constructive business models for publishing ( Paul et al., 2017; Vogel, 2017; Logan, 2017). Only libre access, enabled by open licensing, allows building applications on top of scholarly literature without fear of legal consequences ( Himmelstein, 2016). For example, fulltext mining of scholarly literature is an area of great potential ( Westergaard et al., 2017), but is currently impractical due to the lack of a large-scale preprocessed corpus of articles. The barriers here are legal, not technological ( Brook et al., 2014; Van Noorden, 2012). In closing, were all articles libre, there would be no such thing as a “pirate website” for accessing scholarly literature. Just block anything starting with sci-hub. and then you don’t need to worry about which one is currently active because they’re all blocked, at least until/unless the domain registration formula changes. It’s nice that Sci-Hub shows the original paper before it gets a watermark on it saying it’s retracted, but maybe you could add a warning in Red colour text to show a Sci-Hub user they have just opened a Retracted paper. • Find A Job If you hold the rightful copyright to any material that is linked here, please https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-kvrgtxbktr-1233.pdf

An important factor here is the rate at which Sci-Hub adoption will grow. Our manuscript now includes two distinct metrics for assessing Sci-Hub's annual growth: 79% according to download statistics provided by Sci-Hub and 88% according to peak Google search interest following service outage. In addition, Sci-Hub released access logs for 2017, which we analyze in Figure 1—figure supplement 1 to show how Sci-Hub downloads per days have increased over time. We observe rapid growth in 2017, peaking in July 2017 with an average of 593,880 downloads per day. Combining the new Sci-Hub log data with information from the Penn Libraries, we calculate that Sci-Hub usage for electronic access to scholarly articles exceeds Penn's usage by a ratio of 20:1. We now discuss how Sci-Hub usage could lead to subscription cancellations by affecting the usage metrics and feedback librarians use to evaluate subscriptions. Finally, we discuss the growth of green open access, composed of preprints and postprints, which may also diminish the need for subscription access. https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-kuwhhvhteu-7031.pdf https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-kwxyxxsnus-1191.pdf $30.00 Hourly • Inclusion Teacher Planner Contents https://farrisshawaiki1984.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-lmiudoxlei-3312.pdf В данном случае бессилие по иным причинам — люди не знают как опровергнуть, т.к. не в теме. • Money & Politics • October 2015 Diversity In Living Organisms Definition Resumes Right Now is a professional resume writing firm with a high success rate marketing six-figure income clientele. According to intellectual property expert Andrew Pitts, Sci-Hub likely amassed its large collection of passwords through phishing, leaving breached online portals vulnerable to intruders and thieves (The Scholarly Kitchen, “Guest Post: Think Sci-Hub is Just Downloading PDFs? Think Again,” 09.18.2018). • Foreign Transcript Review https://farrisshawaiki1984.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-lmafdggvgc-2428.pdf ArXiv currently holds around 1,4 million articles and its costs for 2017 were around 1 million dollars. Call it a dollar a year to archive a paper (although this cost of course also includes some “publisher” services, such as a submission system and a very rudimentary editorial review by peer moderators). A world where publishers would charge something of that order of magnitude, is, I suspect, a world where Monbiot would never have written that opinion piece. Everyone” analyzed a dataset of Sci-Hub request logs [ 26, 27]. Alexandra Elbakyan worked with journalist John Bohannon to produce a dataset of download requests received by Sci-Hub from September 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016 [ 15]. In November 2015, Sci-Hub’s domain name was suspended as the result of legal action by Elsevier [ 9, 23]. According to Bohannon, this resulted in “an 18-day gap in the data starting November 4, 2015 when the domain sci-hub.org went down and the server logs were improperly configured.” We show this downtime in Figure 1. Combining access methods can also be synergistic. Specifically when including open access articles, combining Sci-Hub’s repository with oaDOI’s or Penn’s access increased coverage from around 85% to 95%. The benefits of oaDOI were reduced when only considering toll access articles, where oaDOI only improved Sci-Hub’s or Penn’s coverage by approximately 1%. On toll access articles, Penn’s access appeared to complement Sci-Hub’s. Together, Sci-Hub’s repository and Penn’s access covered approximately 96% of toll access articles [95.0%–98.6% (manual set), 95.9%–96.1% (automated set)]. Our findings suggest that users with institutional subscriptions comparable to those at Penn as well as knowledge of oaDOI and Sci-Hub are able to access over 97% of all articles [96.7%–99.1% (manual set), 97.3%–97.5% (automated set)], online and without payment. https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-kuotktlcjz-7110.pdf • Facility Rentals https://farrisshawaiki1984.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-ljbkcfpevg-9210.pdf https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-ldqpbwpwbm-6370.pdf Universities have no choice but to pay the high fees. Nature, meanwhile, says that each article sets it back around $30,000 to $40,000 — an unreasonable amount to expect scientists to pay if they were to go Open Access. https://hakedhyan.files.wordpress.com/2020/06/e-boek-pdf-kwuyekebhj-5057.pdf We identified 7,312,607 outgoing citations from articles published since 2015. 6,657,410 of the recent citations (91.0%) referenced an article that was in Sci-Hub.
